When I right click on a route and click 'send as e-mail', it says I need to set up e-mail account for sending!! How do I do this?

Right click on the route and either "send by email" as an .mmo file or - "save as" a gpx then attach the file you have saved to and email 🙂
The best thing for you if you are not using a native email program like outlook or thunderbird or Eudora etc is to save the file first and then upload the file as an attachment to your web based email like hotmail, gmx etc 🙂
