Need to trim the steerer and and want to fit a star nut.
any tricks for getting it out?
smack it with a hammer? don't smack it?

Loosen the bolt - lefty loosey, righty tighty - thats how I remember 😉

for some reason the main body is really stuck.
have managed to lever it up to the top edge of the steer and then to bolt snapped.
off to cut a bit of timber to poke through from underneath and drift it out that way.
oh the simplest jobs....
