Mate has got some black and gold Hope mono minis.
All direct bolted to his IS mounts. So 160mm front and 140mm rear.
How can the 160mm front be adapted to his new post mount Sids?
Many thanks for any pointers.
Hope do a mount for this I think. But he will need to go to a 180mm disc.
HBSM20H is the mount. It will indeed require increasing rotor size to 180mm
Many thanks trying to find a cheap mount and rotor now.
Will an shimano XT 180mm rotor do?
Yup.
there apparently is a mount that will do this without a new disc ie keep the 160 but it doesn't work with all calipers.

It might be cheaper to buy a new calliper and swap over pistons etc.

Eh? adaptors are a few quid as are discs - and he don't have to go up a disc size
See my posts and pic in the thread TJ linked to. It's your answer
Adaptor - £10
Nice disc - £25
Calliper - £43 and looks neater, no need for a large disc you might not want...

Just reading about the compatability issue with that KCNC adapter, surely a couple of mm's of washers & some V-brake conical washers would effectively rotate that adapter to fit. What ever happened to tinkering. 😕
Got to be worth £8.99.
Youngsters don't know what V brakes are!
Wally, I've got the mount and a hope mini 180mm rotor for sale. Email me if your interested, my email is in my profile.
But if he buys the kcnc adaptor and it fits. He'll not need a larger disc.,, that's the whole point of it.
