House insurance is due for renewal and am in the process of buying a £6.5k ebike.

Are there any companies that can be recommended to cover both ?

Loads do normal £6.5k bikes (got a Barclays bike only contents for the bikes over my normal policy), but are there any there issues with e-bikes - i.e. charging risk and added 'nickable value'.

My Co-op wil cover any bike upto about £2k, but I got a Barclays contents as well, but took 'bike only' cover a few years back to cover a few that were a bit more than that and difficult to value - one cost over £2k - 30 years ago...).

think i'm with esure at the moment, nearly up for renewel. covers bikes up to a total of 10k as long as they are specified. i just go on the comparison sites and know i have changed companys a few times over the years with the same cover so plenty must do it. never any mention of if it's an ebike or not unless things have changed since last year.

LV here, surprisingly reasonable price for home, contents and a far too long list fo named bikes inc. ‘e’ , and with experience of having to claim, they are really sensible and practical with that side too. Big thumbs up.

M&S. Don't see why an ebike makes a difference.

Don't need to specify items. Only need to specify the value of the most expensive bike.
