I was back in the Midlands at the weekend.
I tried to get into hopwas woods. I notice the army section with the Bridleway is closed, and the Tarmac section is much more protected than it used to be.
Anyone got any info ?

AFAIK there's plenty digging going on, but I've not been up there for ages. Try the hopwas trail builders group on FB.
Also take a peek at pooley trails
