My self and wife are away next weekend for her birthday, but while i was looking at maps to see where we are staying , i noticed a place called hopton woods ... is it worth taking the bike ?
Ive only got my rigid SS at the moment , will i be ok with this ? .... im not really bike fit at the minute but will i die on it ?? 😀
yes, yes and no. only one gnarly section on the old dh track the rest is smooth and fun.
Deffo worth taking the bike. Cracking red XC route at Hopton. Depending on your skill level you might end up walking (down / up) some of the steeper bits, but there is plenty of nice flowly stuff to keep you smiling. Make sure you have some knobblies on however, as a few of the climbs are a bit slippy this time of year.........
Yes def worth a visit IMO.
