Hey all,
Has anyone got or used the new Hope Enduro wheelset? The hubs are well proven but the rims? From what I can see they are basically Stans Arch EX rims with eyelets? I have just ordered a set but hoping I have made a good choice!

OH has them on his brand new bike build. There was a very long wait for them....over 6 weeks. First ride out was today, he likes them. I was really hoping he would swap them for my WTB Frequency.
They look great, very nice kinda brushed effect on the actual rim with low key graphics. Not ridden them enough to say what they're like but quality wise they stack up as you would expect from hope.
So good first impressions. I always find with Hope stuff aesthetically its a bit hit and miss for me. Some of it I love and some I think looks tacky and overdone.
Im kinda hoping that they offer their great customer backup (which seems to go long over their warranty)
Rode mine for first time today; freeridey-trail sort of ride; some small doubles and drops etc. I was testing them before the Alps in 3 weeks. They had a poor review in MBR and I wanted to see if they'd pretzel. Not so far. Lightweight and so far strong. UST tyres seated OK (not as good as Mavic UST rims) with the stans kit (included in price from 18 bikes) and no burping. Taking my EX823s to Alps as insurance but so far I'm enjoying a lighter, wide rim wheel. Aesthetically; the wheels look round with spokes and Hope written on the rims & hubs. I tend not to look at them much when I'm riding.
I have both sets on test right now. Seem pretty good to me. I'm 90% certain I know who made the rims judging by the set up, and its likely a company in Taiwan that you wont have ever heard of but whose rims Ive run before and they've always come up trumps.
I waited ages for one too land, felt the weight and sent it back to swap for a Stan's Arch Ex on Hope hub. I was expecting it to be similar in weight/use as Arch but it sits somewhere between Arch and Flow. Too heavy for my needs.
The Stans Archs are 470g, the Hopes are 490g so I thought the eyelets were the difference.
