Bugger, just realised you are supposed to have a special end cap.
Do any of the original ones work? Got X12 and 10mm/QR hubs (the latter could use either as it's a QR frame) and was going to fit my XD drivers this weekend but dont have the adapters.
Are you running Pro 4's or Pro 2's? I didn't need to change my Pro 4 ones, I also had a little friday evening panic a few weeks ago after reading a few things online about needing some different ones. I Believe that only applies to the Pro 2 hubs though.
You can make the X12 work with some filing, just need a bit less thickness to clear the lockring
The idea with XD is to have the adapter off while you tighten the cassette, then pop it in. You can modify an older cap and file it down a bit to fit through the SRAM XD "lockring", I think.

yeah pro 2 Evos. Is it just the diameter? (can probably stick it in next doors lathe) or the length? Not sure I want to trim the length in case I go back to shimano.
Still trying to toss up between 10-42 and 11-46 cassettes.

I turned mine down on the lathe. Easy job.
