How do you disassemble a Hope XC front wheel? The hope website only shows an exploded diagram and I can't see how hitting the spindle with a hammer will knock anything out (and indeed, having tried that, it doesn't). So far,
I can only take off the disc side spacer, what next?

Heat the hub with hot water to make the bearings easier to move.
you do have to give them a really good whack
Protect teh end of the spindle with something as well.
heating the hub makes a huge difference. Tie a rag around it and pour boiling water over it
Wow, no kidding, you really do have to whack it. Managed to get the other side off using hot water and stupid amounts of force. Broke a spoke in the process.
