[#5940062]

Hi there, slowly piecing together my build for my new commuter, I managed to get a set of v twins so thought I'd have a play with setting them up on my old charge whisk forks.

Rotors are 160
Wheels are sun ringle 29er rims
Caliper is x2

Caliper clearance for spokes is non existent and actually fouls, has anyone tried this combo before or more importantly tried it on a kinesis pro 6 fork?

I wait with baited breath

Just been out and checked mine and I've got a good 8-10mm clearance between the calliper and the spokes.
That's on a Kinesis Pro6 fork and wheels built up with Hope Hubs.

Suspect the hub flanges might be wider on the sun wheels as no concerns when it was built with bb7's

So up rotor size or buy new hub/wheels?

I'd go with new wheels 😀

The Kinesis CX wheels are supposed to be pretty good for the money.

Deja vu? I'm sure I commented on pretty much exact same thread before (not a dig at the op!)

No probs here with mine

Just did another search both google and on here, drew a blank apart from mine.

Wheels would be nice but the fund was blown on the v twins- whoops
