Got some shimano slx on my scott genuis now and wondering if it's worth changing to the hope tech E3 4 set up? Any advice would be appreciated

I ride a scale 700rc and I changed my xtr m988 brakes to hope race evo x2's about six months ago and wish I'd done it sooner. No contest. They're proper brakes, unlike the shimano which are like toys in comparison. They work so well and are really easy to bleed, they're just like miniature motorbike brakes and literally every part is replaceable should you need it. They definitely need a run-in period (they feel pretty disappointing out of the box) but once they've been hammered a bit boy they're good! They're not like on/off switches either, they have fantastic feel and you can control your braking really well. I did wonder whether to go for the four pot calipers but to be honest the X2 caliper is more than enough.

I've never done a review before, mainly because I'm too lazy, but credit where it's due and all that. Plus I'm in work so it's their time I'm using!
