After a remote for my new OneUp post that I can mount directly to the Tech 3 levers.

Ideally I don’t want to be modifying anything which I know you have to with the Wolf Tooth Ispec A/B version but this is looking the best option so far.

If anyone's modified the Wolf Tooth what's involved?

So, any more suggestions?

Got a reverb 1x remote mounted to my Tech 3 lever, just used the Sram shifter mount adapter and it fits nicely. Might cost a bit more doing it that way but would be the least faff I would have have thought.

I'm being dumb here,I know it but isn't the Reverb remote hydraulic?

That's the setup I have now but ditching the Reverb for the OneUp and the Wolf Tooth Sram version doesn't go on the Hope adapter. Not even close.

Well scratch that advice then! Why not use the OneUp remote? Did you already have the Wolftooth?

@lawman91 OneUp remote doesn't work either and is fragile from what I've read. I have a new Sram mount Wolf Tooth which I mistakenly though would work with the Hope adapter so was hoping to swap it.

The Bike Yoke triggy fits nicely direct mount on Tech 3 levers using the relevant Shimano Ispec adapter that Bikeyoke also make.

Absolutely nothing, it fits straight on. I have the 'Shimano I-Spec A & B' version fitted to my Hope Tech 3 lever using the bits that came with the remote.

If you have the wrong version of the wolftooth then you can buy just the part that makes the difference;  https://www.wolftoothcomponents.com/collections/dropper-post-levers/products/remote-replacement-axle

That's good to know and thanks for the link. I spoke to the shop it came from yesterday and even though it's past the return date they're happy to swap it.

Cool. If I remember I'll grab a pic of it fitted.

Well @nixie was spot on, the replacement I-Spec A/B remote went straight on with no messing around. Just need a frame to fit it to now 🙂

@fathomer @nixie any chance of a picture of how the remote fits. I’m currently in the same dilemma on fitting a wolfthtooth remote to my hope tech 3’s and not sure on how it will go on. Cheers Brian

I couldnt decide on whether to go for the ispec normal length Wolftooth or the longer version with bar mount. Anyone comment on either with the OneUp? Advantage of the bar mount is you set the angle.

Bike Yoke triggy is the other option that comes with ISpec A/B

Some of the sram compatible ones might work with the hope adapter but not all eg the OneUp remote can't be mounted to Ispec A/B at all.

Yep, mine looks like mixie's. Well apart from the fact I have boring black brakes 🙂

Excellent thanks for the pictures. I take it the lever mounts to the handlebar bracket? With the supplied fittings that come with the I spec B wolfthoth remote?

Yeap. You don't even need all the bits it comes with. There is a hole in the brake lever that takes the special nut that comes with the dropper lever. Took a few seconds to mount.

Do you really need to mount it onto the brake lever? I have Tech 3 levers and a Wolftooth remote separately on the bars and it all sits just where you need it

I think it just tidys things up a little. I’m swapping from a Reverb remote attached to Tech 3 lever and want the same set up with the wolftooth remote.

Need, no. But when the brakes I had gave the option and I needed a dropper lever anyway the question was why not. Wolftooth sell all the parts so I could always convert it to bar clamp in the future.
