Hi,
Just got a new 10mm rear wheel for my single speed mountain bike - what torque should i be looking at to make sure the wheel doesnt slip? Am running a DMR chaintug on the drive side.
Done them up to about 15 n/m at the mo (not sure if that is a bit too much?)
Thanks,
Mark

mine is done up as tight as i can do it with my Y shaped allen key. Not sure what the torque figure for that is though.

I crank mine up bastardtight.
That's a step down from ****offtight.

If your running a chain tug then just nip them up, nothing can slip forward!

Thanks for the replies. Anthony, if they are nipped up, will the non-drive side not slip forward under hard pedalling/heavy breaking?
Thinking 10 n/m is probably bastardtight, 15 is probs verging on ****offtight ๐
