Fitted my new reverb and new hope seat clamp in the proper diameter,
Torqued it up to the stated torque and ping the threads stripped! I did think at the time the bolt didn't look to be very far into the nut. Anyone else had this?

Yep..

Been there.
Hope make excellent stuff BUT their new seatclamps appear to be made of cheese.

Had your torque wrench calibrated recently?
Stripped the threads on the top mount of a suspension mount on the car using an old unchecked wrench.

Had this, wasn't using a torque wrench mind you. Crap IMO, why can't they stick a steel bolt in it FFS?

Tightened mine so much due to slippage that it snapped in half. POS.
