Anyone running Hope Saw 183mm Floating rotors as replacements for the standard 185mm discs that come with Avid Juicys?

they will clip the spider for a while but then when the bits that clip wear off they stop making a noise.

with a bit of careful alignment they work fine, but if 1 piston is stronger than the other the caliper will be slightly offset and clips the connecting rings. Like MrNutt says it will wear and sort itself, or you can faff about with your set up - looks great though!

Exactly what catches on the expansion rivets? Is it the pads or the alloy of the calliper? I have modded callipers to fit floating rotors before, but generally it's the body that fouls that rivet. You can see the filed cut out in the image below:

What I'd like to know if it's a similar case with the Juicys or if it's actually the pads fouling the rivet.

dunno wtf is on about above mine run fine without any clipping etc. You WILL need to trim the tab off the brake pads otherwise they bang the rivets holding the steel to the alloy spider. There not going to wear down.
