Generally I am not a destroyer of kit ... but this week is not good. By reverb has gone tits up after I thought I had solved it's loss of pressure issue ...
And now my Hope front 203 disc is bent .... dunno how it bent but it as a very definite kick in it .... I guess I could straighten it with pliers ... but so far that isn't working.
Do they bend easily ... or have I just dropped the bike / lent it against something that has caused the damage?
Any experiences... tempted just to buy a Clarkes rotor!
Floating? Only bent one in a long time and that was when I couldn't get the bolts undone for a flight.

You could buy a cheap replacement, whilst you bash/tease the hope back into shape.
If it's got an aly spider, and a steel disk I can imagine it's more difficult to true. If it's been kicked or hit something it might require a bit of patience to flatten it back out again.
Only ever bent one and that was when I used a big rock as a brake. Otherwise they've been really reliable with only a little tweak needed now and then.
Not bent one so to speak but they do get knocked occasionally, causing a little brake pad rub. Easy fix to tweak back with the Park disc tool, or an adjustable spanner (clean the jaws or cover disc to prevent poss oil transfer).You only need to apply a bit of pressure with a thumb, if you start levering it, all you'll do is make it worse
That goes for non-floating and floating Hopes or any other disc for that matter.

Only by aircraft luggage handlers! After that it was pretty much trash. I couldn't get it straight regardless of how I tweeked it
