Price and build. Looking for a Mavic 321 rim though so not a standard hoop.

Why a 321 rim? Is that not a bit OTT?

Why is it OTT? Its a middling rim. Stout- good for heavy riders and I've found it to be great at AVOIDING picket lines and pinchflats.
