OK I'm just being cheap but are there any good alternative bearing available that might cost a little less?

Hey, not really, if you buy cheap you will simply have to replace them more and the maintenance cost offsets any money saved on the actual bearings.
If you message me I can sort you out with a set of bearings, that are as good quality as hopes offering and are also weather proofed to prevent rust.
Basically they will last a bit longer, not cheaper but still a better deal, hope that made sense.
