I had a quick flick through the new mag at lunchtime. Very interested in the wheel group test.
I was a bit suprised at the weight of Hope Pro 2 on Stans Flows. They are 200g heavier than Hope claim at more than 2kg! That sounds like a lot to me.
Is there a reason why they have gone up in weight? Tubeless kit or something? Anyone weighed theirs?
Front 20mm was 850g, rear 12mm was 950g. Actual weighed by me... two pairs. Give or take 10-20g.
were they white or black rims?
Black rims spokes and hubs.
Cant remember the exact weight but mine were about the same weight as the ones Messiah weighed.
I've just gone and weighed my front 20mm black, with yellow tape and valve installed. 860g. I've not got the rear with me to weigh, but that weight is cock on with the literature.
I weighed mine and were about 1850g
Perhaps it's the unthinkable. An error by STW?
According to the test, Flows are 1g lighter than Mavic 721's. Shome mistake shurely?
