This is for a road bike but i just wondered if anyone has any experience with the Hope Pro 3? I've read some negative reports on the Pro 2 MTB hub.

Thanks judderman - the ultegra's I've got now only last a few months in the winter weather! The first wheel (hub) disintegrated and the replacement is getting looked at now but I think Shimano have forgot to put seals in!!
Funny I used XT on a mountain bike no problem - maybe it's the nasty salt on the roads.
My winter wheels are Pro3s on Open pro rims. never a moment of problem. If I was buying again I'd probably get the ready built wheelset they offer.
Well I got 2 sets of hope pro II hubs and they are as smooth as the day I got them (both 2-3 years of regular and dirty use)
