Poke something through the spokes from the non drive side (screwdriver) and tap with hammer. Gently file off the burrs and replace cassette.
and replace cassette.
with an XT one (or other one that has the gears mounted to a carrier)
Have you tried using a chainwhip on each ring to loosen, then pull them off?
Screwdriver and a top with a hammer.....bingo !!!
Will it need a little bit of grease on b4 i pop it all back together ?
Cheers chaps
No grease, no. I have started putting a thin layer of grease over the outer surface of the outer bearing in the freehub though
- pull the dust cap/seal bit off that sits in the dropout.
Thanks again for the help, sorry for all the questions just getting used to tinkering about with my new toy ๐
