I have just serviced my rear pro 2 hub and have just found iv been left with a red washer. Its not on any of the exploded diagrams, has anyone got any idea where it goes??

The magical spacer that turns you're bike into a fixie if you forget it and tighten the QR?
I worked in a bike shop in the 90's and a colleague 'practiced' servicing the old style hub using MINE. He forgot said spacer and flatly denied any wrong doing (like my hub dis-assembled itself and re-built itself wrongly)

Its not part no 9, the 2mm spacer is in there (Not the red washer I mean), hub is back together now, the spacing is right and shifts fine, so I have no idea what the washer did, other than the fact that its not doing it!
No red washers in a PRO11 hub, i'd guess it's been left on your bench from something else. Better start checking through whatever else you've stripped down recently:)
