I have noticed that my rear Pro 2 hub seems to have a bit of play in it, which can only be taken out by doing the QR up extremely tight - is this normal ? I've not noticed it before, but that's not to say it's not always been there...

yeah, surprised though as it's only seen about a year of light use. I did have the freehub off for a clean the other week, but don't see how that could have affected things - All seated right and working fine.

Had my Hope Pro 2 SS hub 6 months , had excessive play needed new bearings and pawl springs too, vowed never to have a Hope pro 2 rear again.

mmm, having also read the dickbarton thread it sounds like I might need new bearings...
