Can't help but feel that my new pro 2 evos are draggy, certainly compared with my crossmax SXs. They don't seem too bad in the stand, but riding I can feel them just not spinning as freely. The disks are clear of teh pads so it's not that. Do they free up or is it a feature of the hubs ? I read that it's due to the sealing of the bearings, but I've not had many problems with the SXs despite riding in horrible conditions.
Overall I'm not massively impressed at present (but I do love the noise)

Not had crossmax but certainly don't think the pro2s (on mine anyway) are draggy. If I spin the front wheel it could probably go on till the end of time.

As above they're surprisingly non-draggy esp considering all the guff about correctly adjusted cup-and-cone bearings

Front one goes on forever rear not too far behind

Mine were quite draggy when new, they have freed up over time so I wouldn't worry.

๐Ÿ™‚ No! I have bought some Dumonde freehub oil, which is apparently ideal for pawl type hubs and is very.....erm.....slippy....

Ah great, thanks.

They're usually pretty visibly draggy in a workstand- ironically the freehub seal that doesn't seal is still quite good at dragging. But that shouldn't be noticable at all when riding.

Only time I got any form of drag was when I'd fitted the freehub seal incorrectly.
