Hi to you all has anybody had this happen where you install roter bolts a crack has appeared the length of the bolt mount.Albeit the hub is about 30 months old but just overhauled with new pawls and bearings hub looks and feels has new other than this fresh crack.From the jist of other posts Hope"s customer satisfaction is second to none what chance do i have in having a new hum shell under customer good will.
Phone them up, you will probably get a new shell through the post in a few days, or they may get you to send to them and they will rebuild it for free. No other company will sort you out as Hope do.
My 2 year old hub cracked across the flange, I emailed them to see if it was worth sending it back, they said yes and 3 days later I had my wheel returned with a new hub and several new spokes FOC. Fabulous service again. I'd definitely ring or email them I'm sure they'll sort you out.
They just rebuilt mine after send them the whole hub - you might be able to send the whole wheel over if its factory and they will rebuild it for you?
