Hi
I’ve been using a hope oval NW chainring
It really hasn’t lasted long at all
So I’m thinking of trying something else
Can anybody recommend an alternative
Has to be hope fitting
Or
if I fitted a 4 bolt adapter would a non NW ring last any longer ?
Thanks

Randomly I have a red 32t never used, fitted once, superstar hope direct mount ring you can have for the price of postage. It's standard chainline and I needed boost chainline. It's kind of explained on their website about the offsets, I was just too keen to order and it scratches my chainstay ever so slightly.

To clarify - My HB160 came with a Hope 32t round ring.  It was good in the 6 months it lasted.  The 30t oval from Superstar I replaced it with is still on the bike 18m later.

Hope has a special spline.
And reports say a weird clicking /ovality.
If no one makes a good DM oval ring to fit, maybe Hope have an adaptor for a 4 bolt ring, then you can get the best which IMO is Absolute Black Oval. Nice feel last for ages.
