Mate has a front Mono Mini (circa 2007) IS mount - outer edge of disc fouls the caliper. I'm thinking the disc isn't a Hope and therefore the wrong size.
What size discs should they be?
thanks.
what caliper number?
IIRC it's 160/180/2000 and you may have a 203 as well.
what caliper number?
As usual I'm trying to answer remote questions without access to the bits, so don't know.
It looks like a 180/185 from the pic, so maybe should have a 180.
well if it's the mono mini (black) it's 180. If it's the mini it's 185 they use a wavy disk. It's doable to use a 185mm wavy into a 180 mono caliper, it take a little bit of grinding not much just a little bit due to the difference in the depth of the caliper;
Definitely Mono Mini.
Grind the disc or the caliper? ๐
caliper is easiest disk is safest
Went for the disk ๐
Yep, thats what I thought you'd say...
How's things in France anyway?
France sucks, not tiem for biking no time for climbing I just miss good old UK to be honest. Weather is crap yes, food is a bit of a struggle yes, but people are way less prone to judge and much nicer...
Sounds like you're working too hard... see you at the BBB?
