[#2930124]

I've had my monomini's (silver with black cap versions) for a little while now but have been having a bit of a problem with the pistons.

Story so far is:

Caliper reasonably corroded, cleaned up using wire brush and replaced pistons (as the pistons were stuck) and seals and bled through.

Worked OK from then on, but one of the pistons wouldn't quite retract all the way. Didn't cause major problem at the time but I've come to replace the pads and the piston, cap side won't retract. It moves easily and you can push it all the way into the caliper as it should, but then springs back to it's original position.

I'll bleed them through again to see if it helps but aside from a call to Hope anyone any suggestions?

cheers

Too much brake fluid? Take the cap off the lever and wrap some kitchen roll round it too soak up any spills and push the pistons back in then
Edit, you might have to pull the lever while you push in the pistons

I've opened and closed the bleed nipple whilst pushing the pistons back, but no fluid came out.
Next step is to bleed them, to make sure there's no issue with air, as it does feel like there may be air behind the piston.

Thanks
