can anyone tell me the difference between hope tech m4 brakes as opposed to hope tech m4 mono brakes,are the latter dis continued ? cheers

Mono = old version
Tech M4 = New lever new New caliper

Tech M4 have same size pots where as older ones have one small pot and one big one.

so any real differnce in terms of power etc or is it just looks alone ?

I have the new Hope Tech levers on my old M4 callipers, works a treat with lots more stopping power far less fatiguing than with the original levers. It was part of an insurance claim otherwise it would cost £180 just for the levers. I can now try to get the hang of 1 fingered braking.

Well the Tech lever is a lot nicer, that's for sure.
