hi there i have just purchesed the above but the front brake is hurrendous when wet any ideas please ๐Ÿ˜€

Make sure you set the caliper up properly as per the video. Their is a huge difference in performance when the caliper is aligned properly and the pistons are equal distance away from rotor.

sorry i forgot to say hurrendous sqealing noise not in power wise could this be the type of pads they are the standard ones that come with it only 2 weeks old

Nope same thing, pads mis-aligned or caliper mis-aligned.

thats something i did not think of but they were set up by my lbs but will check them out tomorrow thanks again

Hi i have just checked them they are perfectly alligned and pads centerd any other ideas please

contamination or glazed/ polished pads pads

IMO most likely is polished pads - and M4 on a 203 is a huge amount of braking - use it gently the pads get polished and squeal. the brake needs to get really really hot and in the UK not many riders will be able to do this to this brake.

Try sanding the pads and bedding it in again by dragging it down a long hill while pedalling. I bet that cures the squeal but it will come back again

thanks i hope this works its supposed to be dry this sat so i will try them again as on sun it was like riding through a river everywhere how long does it take to bed in brakes
