You don't. You'll need to replace the bearings

Hopes are sealed bearings, not cup and cone. Which hub is it - xc, pro II?
Look online for videos/tutorials on changing bearings, it's pretty easy if you've access to tools and a vice.

Dead easy to do, even I've managed it - the specialist tools mentioned are nice to have/use, but an old (car hex) socket will do the same thing or you simply don't need the tool

Hope's bearing kits are good value, you can buy chepaer but you'll need to replace them more often, otherwise the bearing (all sizes listed on Hope tech sites exploded diagrams) can be bought from a local engineer bearing supplier (go for a branded name like INA[ala hope]/FAG/SKF is my advice)

Bearing kit = all the bearings you need (link for rear hub kit), not all bearings may need changing, but TBH if your taking it to piece I'd do em all.
