[Closed] Hope Hoops - XC3 or XC6?

I'm looking at getting a set of light-weight wheels, and can't decide between XC3 or XC6 disk mount with Hope Hoops.

I'm kind of loath to buy into an incompatible system. But I could just buy a spare rotor and it would still be much cheaper than XC6 and two floating rotors.

Anyone have an opinion?

xc3 are great value and lighter, but I went for xc6 just to have some flexibility with the choice / future availability of rotors.

How heavy/clumsy are you (honestly) I've got both and I find the xc3 24h a bit twangy for my liking but I'm 82kg, there's an 85kg weight limit on the xc3.

@blazin - These will be my 'race' wheels so I'll try not to be too clumsy on them; and I'm only 62kg.

I've got a front xc3 24 spoke. Plenty stiff enough for me (70kg). They're wound up nice and tight.
Go for the 3bolt! Just coz it looks super sexy. However, you may need to true the rotors a little when you get them. One time only though.. It's just coz the rotor is narrower so it's less supported. Mine's not warped at all since.

had XC3's for about a year and thought they were very good until i put some 32h mavic 717's on king hubs on the bike, then i noticed how flexy the Hopes are and the spokes kept snapping at the nipple and hope are the only place you can get the spokes from
