I thought they came built with DT Swiss Comps but I received a set with Sapims - are these old versions??? They are going back but just out of interest really.
no, they use some Sapim and some DT. mainly Sapim now though.

2) What's wrong with Sapim?
Sapim just sounds too much like "snappin" for my liking and I wouldn't trust them. 😉
Really though, there's nowt wrong with DT or Sapim, both quality spokes.
Sapim Race spokes are probably the equivalent to the Comps. They are lighter, cheaper and stronger than the Comps! Why on earth are you returning them?
Comps are generally very easy to find if you need to, not sure the same's true of Sapim.
You could, if you were feeling really brave, replace a Sapim with a DT if required.

Oops - maybe it doesn't read quite right! They are going back as they have been used but were bought supposedly 'new' from an online shop. Just thought I read they were built with DT Swiss the Sapims were a surprise.
