Hi guys I'm just about to install a hope top cap assembly ( ec34 28.6) I have had lying around for ages. I've got the cup, bearing shims and top cover. I'm now thinking I've lost the little edge expander thing. Am I correct or is this replaced with the top cover? Thanks.

Yep looks like I've lost a part! Typical!

It should have a threaded Allen key bolt in the middle that when is tightened in the headtube expanded to grip it. The head cap then screws into the threaded bolt. Bound to be a YouTube video, Hope ones are decent imo
