OK, so wanting to fit a standard 1 1/8 steerer fork into an existing frame with tapered headtube and Chris King headset already fitted. Can I
- buy the Hope reducer
- fit to the fork steerer
- fit the 1.5 King crown race to the reducer
- fork into frame
Simple as that ... or not?

Unless I'm getting my products mixed up, the Hope reducer is just a big fat crown race for use with Hope headsets

CK due a reducer crown race (or base plate as they call it) just get that. Less likely to cause creaks than the adaptor+crown race approach.
