Due to the minefield that is headsets I,'ve ordered the wrong cup setup. I've got a top kit for a 1.5 straight steerer. I need a kit for a tapered steerer. Before i send the wrong one back do Hope do a reducer?
Every search gives me the crown race adaptor

You can use the crown race adaptor to allow 1.125" steerer in the bottom cup, because it sits down there on the top of the crown surrounding the steerer. Now, at top, it is the headset collar, bearing and top cap that surround and clamp the steerer... so you need the correct size of all of these.
TLDR... get a different top half of the headset
