Hi,
I'm replacing the original Pikes with a fork with a tapered steerer. I've read several threads on this subject but I'm afraid that I am none the wiser.
Can anyone provide me with the exact Hope part number for a suitable headset? You'd save an old man a lot of faffing and confusion if you could.

Does this look correct:
EC49/28.6 for the upper
EC49/40 for the lower?

I think you need the traditional 1.5 bottom. There's a very useful pdf on the Hopetech site where you can see it.
I bought one SH off the bay with crown race to widen my options when I was fork shopping. Bought a 1.125" Rev so don't need it - let me know if you're interested 🙂

Hi I fitted tapered forks to mine the number of the lower hope cup is HSCF
