I'm in need of a new headset for my bike.
It's a ZS44/56 frame, with a tapered fork, and I've been offered a Hope Tapered headset by someone I know with very little use for an extremely good price. However, the seller is very short of information, so all I really have to go by is this image:
Now, this leaves me with 2 questions:
1/ Is this actually the right size for my frame? and fork combo? I'm pretty sure it is, and this page seems to support that.
2/ Now he's admitted that he thinks there is 'a part missing'; Now, as far as I can see, there may be a bit of the Hed doctor thing that's AWOL (but I don't care about that TBH), but to me it looks like everything else is there APART from the crown race. Has anyone got one and can confirm this?

All looks present except the race you mentioned and a top cap/bolt.
The HeadDoctor looks complete to me - minus a topcap and bolt - but you can use any other available
Hardto say if its the right size. Off the top of my head you need a 2E - this looks like a 2E...
Is the part top right not a crown race?
where are the cups?
edit, actually are they the 2 on the bottom, they look well shallow..
No @dangeourbrain - that's the shims to fine tune the seal drag on the top cup.
Fair do. Never seen one of those in my headsets before.
Can you ask them to measure the OD of the cups?
