Good morning all,
I've been running the stock Hope alu freehub on my Pro2 evos with an old steel cassette and so the freehub is chewed up quite a lot.
I am about to replace cassette/chain because it's all knackered.
If I buy an alu cassette (Probably XT M770), will the dinted freehub ruin the cassette? I don't really want to buy a new freehub as they aren't cheap and this one hasn't done enough miles to warrant a replacement.
Will I have any problems if the freehub does damage the cassette?

No, the cassette should be fine.
Try and file off the worst of the burrs on the Freehub before you fit the new cassette to ensure it doesn't end up sticking on the Freehub and becoming a pain to remove.
It will be fine if the old one comes off okay.
