Any recommendations for a good campsite around the Hope or Castleton area please? Showering facilities would be good to have.
Castleton is good, not sure if you can only book if you are a member of the Caravan and Motorhome Club.
Both the ones in Hope are good
Stayed at all three and would go back
Stayed at Pindale Farm a few times which we like, also stayed at the one on the road between Hope and Edale which is also good. Neither are close to pubs etc. though.
Hardhurst farm just outside Hope is good. No frills, but has decent showers.
Both the Hope ones are near to pubs and trails as is the one in Castleton

Stayed there last summer, would stay there again.
Bamford has a good camp site, close to a couple of pubs also.
Another one for Pindale Farm, unless it's a bank holiday usually pretty quiet so you not right next to someone else. Also let you have small BBQs as long as they are off the ground. You can sometimes hear the cement factory though.
