Is the Tech 3 E4 more powerful than the Race Evo E4?

Aren't the calipers and master cylinders the same, it's just different levers?

Used to be the races levers were slightly more powerful, don't know if it's still the case.

The Race Evo levers were more powerful than the old Tech Evo, also lighter. I think the new Tech 3's are the same, the Race levers are now just lighter due to not having the tool-free adjustments.

I know for a fact that the race lever was more powerful than the tech 2 evo. That was why you couldn't use it with the V2 caliper. As far as I'm aware, you can't use the race lever with the V4 caliper so it's possible that it is still the case that the race lever is more powerful still.

I thought that was because the V series used a larger volume of fluid to actuate and the race lever couldn't provide that.

Yep, that's it. The race series lever doesn't push enough fluid, that's why it feels more powerful.
