What do you use to cut hope braided hoses with

Hacksaw.

Cable cutters, the same as you use for your gear cables etc.

make sure you get a nice clean and tidy cut as the olives can be a pain to get onto braided hose if you don't. Good cable cutters will do the job.

Place the cutters on the floor, whack them with a hammer!

If you go the hacksaw route, wrap the cut tightly with a good few turns of masking tape, and hold in a vice...

Cable cutters - you can them use them on your cables 😉
