Hey all,
I've fitted one these, followed the instructions and everything seems to be running fine. Only issue is that on the non-drive side there is a gap of around 2mm between the face of the crank arm and the axle from the drive side.
Should that gap be there?
Paddy are you using one of these?

Yeah, got that in, as I say everything runs ok...at least on a test down the road...
bit useless now but when you remove them file a little notch into one of them to make removal easier
You shouldn't have a gap on the non-drive side, the bearing(and adaptor set)should be clamped between the left crank and the step on the axle. They need to be done up very tight, how tight is yours.
Cheers for the replies - just done 3hours on it and all seems fine, complete with the gap.
I haven't got a torque meter but they're done up darn pretty tight. Presume the more I go it'll eventually not have a gap?
thanks
