Hi all, just checking but as the title says are the two compatible. I would presume so but it only lists on the instructions shimano hollow tech and race face compatible cranks. Maybe a numpty question but I'd like to be sure.

I the X9 chainset is a GXP one, you can get some adaptora from Hope which convert a standard BB to GXP size.
Yes but you need to purchase the GXP adapters that push into the left hand bearing at the same time as the axle diameter on Sram is different to Shimano.

Cheers folks, I will order the gxp adaptors from that link. Cheers woody! Is the adaptor for the non drive side only, just been out checking and the drive side is a good fit. They are the gxp type.

SJ, SRAM cranks only attach to the BB on the Non Drive side - the DS is floating. If you go to the Hope website, there is a video explaining the adapters, and it explains this also.
