I've just ordered a Hope Bottom Bracket and the Truvativ adaptor. Then, after watching the service videos on the hope website, discovered I need a funky tool - the 6001 bearing tool, to fit the adaptor. Where can I get one, only CRC seem sell them and they're out of stock?

whats wrong with a socket that fits to the outer race, or am I missing something?

Zippy's missing something. The 6001 press is to fit the adaptor into the nondrive side bearing, two washers and a nut and bolt should do the job nicely.
