Is it possible to convert a Hope rear hub to 12x142? I can see it can be done to 150mm and various versions of 135 but can't find anything for 142.

Yes, the pro II ends up with a rather thin axle wall, the evo has bearings with a larger internal diameter to allow a more durable axle.
Part no's to follow when I find the info...
For my Pro II version I went to UK bikestore, parts are Hope Pro 2 X12 (12mm x 142mm) rear thru axle kit

BTW my wafer thin Pro II 142x12 axle has survived numerous 3' drops, so it's not as delicate as some would have you believe 😉
