[#9914378]

It looks like a wet and muddy ride this year !

I plan to ride my cx bike - tcx with 35mm cross boss tyres this year (or if it dries a little my 40mm nano's).

I was hoping it would be a little drier and I would use a 29er hardtail - for more fun on the off road sections

Who else will be there and what will you be riding?

meant to be marshalling..... that is going to be bad enough. Just waiting for rain on the day to really make it a "memorable" day.

I booked to do this then got injured. Doh.

Tried to ride my bike on Saturday and reluctantly concede I’m not gonna be fit in time.

So if you want a place drop me a PM.

There is a rock garden section on the short route.

Did it on my MTB last year and have been planning to do it on my CX this year. Not 100% decided which bike though, will see what the weather/conditions are going to be nearer the time

How much road is on it? Been maybe 15 years since I did it last.

I will be there again this year.

XC hardtail after last years trial on the Cx bike.

Might ride it rigid but will have faster rolling tyres rain or shine because of the road sections.

Thanks,

Max

Won't be there but I would always ride a cx bike. Faster on the road and much more fun on the off road.

It's forecast to rain every day but one between now and the 8th. Deep joy. Deep mud.

no IHN, not trolling, when I reced the route back in the summer they had just dumped a large number of rocks on one section of track. Hopefully it would have beded down a bit by now.

Raining very well in the Cotswolds at present at least it will be very wet mud and easy to cut through happy days.

Bit of a thread hijack here, but my son's old primary school will profit from anyone who fancies a south Cotswolds road ride in June. 79 miles & 2000 meters of ascent.
