Anyone got any ideas or experience the kinda stuff you can put in a garden sprayer and spray on bike wash of a few minutes later.

And yes iam trying to be a cheap skate got a baby on the way!! 😕

If you're going to clean your bike either do it properly or just leave it, spraying all sorts of shite at it and then hosing it off, sounds like the worst of all worlds to me...

Just plain water - known as the universal solvent for a reason. Spray /brush / spray

universal degreser by deb from screwfix direct.9.99 for 5 litres and then dilute it approx 2 thirds water.its bright pink just like muck off( sure its the same stuff)

fenwicks caravan cleaner - dilute down, lasts ages.

Hydrochloric Acid neat is a good one.
Gets every last bit of shite off the bike.

Aerial/ persil, warm water. Then a very good rinse. Not in the washing machine though, that would be a silly thing to do.

Ahh yes, thats a tried and tested method. Works like a charm.

However, I usually just run a nice hot bath after a ride, then pop the bike in with me to soak.

Just buy concentrated fenwicks for a tenner - makes 11L
