An essential trail snack and to avoid pigging out I wondered if they could be frozen?

If so, any successful recipes would be appreciated.

Thanks. 🙂

They're the kind of food that doesn't really go off, I would have thought.

Oddly, considering my username, they make me ill. Gliadin intolerance. I thought you'd said you were gluten intolerant, CG, so be careful.

Yep,freeze them weekly for a pop-up bike cafe. Just put them in a tin but make sure they are completely cool and top to top (if that makes sense) so they don't stick.

Best recipe I've found is a Good Housekeeping one with added pumpkin seeds, cranberry and raisins.

My Saturdays are really wild at the moment!

250g butter, 250g caster sugar 175g golden syrup in a pan melt it all together. If you are feeling sexy grate in some lemon or orange zest and the juice of said fruit

Add to 400g of oats and whatever else you want, mix well.

Put into tin, bake at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes

You can get gluten free oats, our 2 year old doesn't seem to complain so they must be good 🙂
