One of my lovely daughters has managed to damage the top tube on her race carbon frame. Basically about an inch long and 3/4s of inch wide on top of the top tube about 6 inches from the head tube.
An old frame so not really worth being sent away but thinking about trying a mend.
Has anyone tried it and know where to get the gear to do it?

I've repaired a seat stay that was cracked. I ordered the kit off of Ebay, followed the instructions, it's not pretty but it is very strong!

Easy Composites do starter kits if you are looking for small quantities.

A mate repaired a pretty badly cracked cube stereo carbon frame (underside of the top tube) a few years ago. Pretty sure he got most if not all the stuff to do it from Ebay, as far as I know its still in use without any issues. No idea how he actually did it but don't think it cost a lot

Easy Composites were the goto place for small to medium quantities of stuff for repairing RC Gliders for me.

Yep, easy composites for resin/hardners with 50p sample fabric to make up your layers

The damage may not be as significant as you think. It's certainly in a low stress area.

My LBS sanded back a cracked MTB frame and back filled with a two part expoy which may have also had carbon fillings in it for me, held fine for a year till I upgraded the bike.

I recently repaired my Cube Reaction with a diy kit bought of eBay. It was damaged on the down tube by the water bottle mounts. Only ridden it once since I repaired it but it felt fine, time will tell I guess.
One thing I would say is make sure your scales are sensitive/accurate for weighing out the epoxy & hardener.
